WELCOME TO
The Log Cabin Podcast - Discovering the Doctrine of the Early Cumberland Presbyterians
Our denomination was born in a season of revival and rooted in deep, biblical conviction. In those early years, our pastors left us a rich legacy of sermons, books, a confession, and even meeting minutes that spoke with clarity, conviction, and a love for Christ and His Word.
Over time, many of these treasures have gathered dust. His goal with this podcast is simple: to rediscover the beliefs of our founders, to hear their voices again, and to think about how those convictions can shape us today. He'll focus on the era near our founding and draw from the 1814 Confession of Faith, early sermons, and original Presbytery records.
This podcast uses AI for the narration. That’s simply to make the production possible, consistent and quick. But the content is real, authentic, and straight from our historical sources. Pastor Luke gathers, edits, and presents the material faithfully so you can hear our heritage in a fresh way.
Whether you’re a history buff, a theology lover, or someone who just wonders, what did our founders actually believe? We’d love for you to listen. Even if you’re skeptical about the AI part, give it a try and you might find that hearing the old words in a new format is a blessing.
